Dear
On you or your company applied for and obtained a
Stormwater Phase II post -construction runoff permit for a High -Density Development within the
jurisdiction of the Town of Fletcher. The project was finalized on ,
one year from this date, the Annual Inspection Report is required to be submitted to this office
for review. Article 6 of the Town's Land Development Code outlines the Annual Inspection
requirements for each permitted site. The regulations are summarized below for your
convenience:
"Inspections shall be conducted as prescribed by the Operations and Maintenance Agreement. The
person responsible for maintenance of any structural BMP installed pursuant to Article 6(Environmental
Protection) -Section 6.5.0.3 (Annual Maintenance Inspections) of the Town of Fletcher Land
Development Code, shall submit to the Stormwater Administrator an inspection report from one of the
following persons performing services only in their area of competence: a qualified registered North
Carolina Professional Engineer, Landscape Architect or person certified by the North Carolina
Cooperative Extension Service for stormwater treatment practice inspection and maintenance."
Please find the attached "Annual Inspection Report" hire a qualified professional to complete
an inspection, fill out report, sign and seal the form. Once the form is complete, send to the
following address:

Annual Inspection Notice
Failure to provide the required annual inspection form to this office may result in a civil penalty
for violating the requirements of the Town of Fletcher Environmental Protection Article 6 of the
Town's Land Development Code. The maximum penalty for a violation of this Article is
$5,000.00 per day. Each day of a continuing violation shall constitute a separate violation.
Additional fees may be charged for remedies and enforcement of this Article. For more
information on Civil Penalties, refer to the Town of Fletcher Land Development Code Article
6.5.P.2 at the Town's website https://www.fletchernc.org/ldc/
