As you are aware our 2020 year-to-date rainfall has been historic in terms of quantity and sustained periods of heavy down pours involving tropical storms. Our staff continues to monitor such events and works diligently to prepare and prevent, to the extent possible, such overflows. Thank you again for the assistance your agency provides to system operators statewide. Please note that Roger Hosey is no longer manager of the Town of Landis. Violations include failing to effectively manage, maintain, and operate the subject collection system so that there is no SSO to the land or surface waters and making an outlet to waters of the State for purposes of G.S. 143-215.1(a)(1), for which a permit is required.
