The new 8" gravity sewer main will extend 292.81 If with 2 new 4' dia. manholes to serve the development. The West Maine Village North Project will serve approximately 14 single family homes @ 360 gpd/home for a total proposed flow of 5,040 gpd. Downstream Sewer Evaluation As shown with the attached calculations, the proposed gravity sewer inside the development and the existing gravity sewer outside the development have the capacity to serve the proposed development. Once the sewer reaches Southern Pines Pump Station #4, Moore County built a hydraulic model of the existing sewer system from the pump station all the way back to the Moore County WWTP. Prior to issuing the Flow Acceptance Letter, Moore County did their own evaluation of the capacity of their downstream sewer and found they had adequate capacity to handle the additional flow.
