As we discussed, here is notification of exceedances for the following sampling events at the CommScope — Catawba facility. I have also attached the spreadsheet that I sent to you earlier this week that denotes all data for both facilities (Catawba and Claremont). As for Claremont, they may reach the exceedances with the past sample event on Saturday, October 201h, 2018; however, these results will not be obtained for a week or two. I will let you know on these. I did mail the September 2018 DMRs to your attention for both facilities on this past Saturday as well. As I was looking back on the data for the past three (3) years, I noticed that sampling was completed more than originally required (as per previous exceedances in the 2015 year). Sampling was conducted on multiple events during the past three (3) years to document corrective actions for past copper and zinc occurrences. As far as Catawba goes, the facility has exceeded the benchmark values for the following outfalls for either copper (0,007 mg/L) and/or zinc (0.067 mg/L) as noted for the past three (3) years: Outfall ID Date Copper Zinc Exceedance Comments (Blank spaces Exceedance (>0.067) denote compliance with (>0.007 mg/L) mg/L benchmark values and/or no issues) 003 9/26/2018 (2``' part of 0.036 0.'15 year 2018) 4/24/2018 (1 " part of 0.012 0.14 year 2018) 2/7/2018 0.01 0.12 12/20/2017 (2"h part 0.0106 0.106 of year 2017) 9/11/2017 0.01 0.09 January through June Missed sampling Missedsampling event Missed sampling event 2017 event For first part of 2017 12/6/2016 (2' " part of 0.285 0.1 year 2016) 5/7/2016 W` part of 0.1 year2016) 2/23/2016 0.0097 0.13 005 9/26/2018 (2rd part of 0.13 0.21 year 2018) 4/24/2018 (1" part of year 2018) 0.008 0.1 2/7/2018 0,13 12/20/2017 (2"d part of year 2017) 0.00945 0,1365 9/11/2017 January through June 2017 Missed sampling event Missed sampling event Missed sampling event for first part of 2017 12/6/2016 (2"6 part of year 2016) 5/7/2016 (1" part of year 2016) 0,083 2/23/2016 0,037 0.21 009 9/26/2018 (2" part of year 2018) 0.008 4/24/2018 (.1' part of year 2018) 0.013 2/7/2018 0.021 12/20/2017 (2"d part of year 2017) 0.0073 9/11/2017 0.07 January through June 2017 Missedsampling event Missed sampling event Missed sampling event for first part of 2017 12/6/2016 (2"" part of year 2016) 0.01 5/7/2016 (1y` part of year 2016) 0,11 2/23/2016 0,014 0.11 012 9/26/2018 (2"0 part of year 2018) 0.01 0.13 4/24/2018 (1" part of year 2018) 0.058 0.13 2/7/2018 0.13 12/20/2017 (2"d part of year 2017) 0.0077 0.127 9/11/2017 0.11 January through June 2017 Missed sampling event Missed sampling event Missed sampling event for first part of 2017 12/6/2016 (2"d part of year 2016) 0.087 0.1S5 5/7/2016 (1" part of year 2016) 0.2 2/23/2016 0.0092 0.31 From the data above, it appears that the following outfalls were above the benchmark values for the past four (4) sampling periods as follows: Outfali ID: Time Period Copper (<0.007 mg/L) — Zinc (>0.067 mg/L) — Exceedances per Period I Exceedances per Period 003 July through December 2018 1 1 January through June 2018 2 2 July through December 2017 2 2 January through June 2017 No sampling No sampling July through December 2016 1 1 January through June 2016 1 2 005 July through December 2018 1 1 January through June 2018 1 2 July through December 2017 1 1 January through June 2017 No sampling No sampling July through December 2016 0 0 January through June 2016 1 2 000 July through December 2018 1 0 January through June 2018 2 0 July through December 2017 1 1 January through June 2017 No sampling No sampling July through December 2016 1 0 January through June 2016 1 2 012 July through December 2018 1 1 January through June 2018 1 2 July through December 2017 1 2 January through June 2017 No sampling No sampling July through December 2016 1 1 January through June 2016 1 2 2 Please call me at your convenience to discuss further.
