Please take notice that this certificate of coverage is not transferable except after notice to the Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources. The Division may require modification or revocation and reissuanee of the certificate of coverage. Please note that mine dewatering wastewater includes wet pit overflows caused solely by direct rainfall and groundwater seepage for this type of mining operation. Any discharge of this water (and any stormwater commingled with it) is subject to the effluent limitations in this permit. Based the application, all four outfalls at this site will discharge wastewater. Your application indicated that there would be no pumping of mine pit water, Please be aware that any pumping would {nave the potential to impact adjacent wetlands. The specific requirements for mine dewatering at facilities near wetlands can be found in Part III, Scetion E of your permit. if this thine pit requires pumping in the future, you must first have an approved Pumping Operation Monitorina (POM) Plan before those discharges could occur at your facility. Discharging mine dewatering wastewater without Plan approval will be subject to enforcement action. An Operation and Monitoring Plan for your facility would have to be submitted to the Washington Regional Office for approval. If this need arises, please contact Samir Dumpor at the Washington Regional Office at (252) 948-3859 for more information. (Kinston site). Below is the record I entered in our database after that call. l was reviewing the pending projects on my desk today and realized I have not received anything on this. Do you have an update on when you'll provide the additional information on the wastewater alternatives analysis section of the application (question #38)? 1 realize the application indicates that i dewatering as a result of heavy rainfall would be minimal, but the application still needs to address this section, which is required by our rules. ithd PCrR1iL EYerN Pemdl:f CG02093D tud=f teew; :> 6irtTrDe;7, 6dlonallMormasonre4+14atrd r EVfhtDWi., 7Ii22018 r'ResporisibliPKsoie' tnan7:Ge4rgDull3f' DiADiili,'.
