Notification of Stormwater Turbidity Exceedance and Tier I Response
To whom it may concern:
Please find enclosed one original signed stormwater discharge monitoring report (DMR) containing a
turbidity exceedance. The stormwater sample was taken on June 27, 2018. Martin Marietta received the
sample results, containing the turbidity exceedance, on July 3, 2018. The results triggered a Tier I response
for turbidity, as the sample was the first valid sample result of the period and the previous period's sample
result was below the turbidity benchmark. On July 9, 2018, regional environmental staff performed a site
review with site staff to identify and evaluate possible causes of the exceedance. Implementation of
actions identified during the evaluation will be completed within one month, as required by the general
permit.
