On July 10, 2009, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated July 10, 2009 to
impact 1,695 square feet (ft) of Zone 1 protected riparian buffers and 1,622 square feet (ft) of Zone 2
protected riparian buffers to construct the proposed sanitary sewer at the subject property. On, August 13,!
2009, the DWQ sent a Request For More Information letter to you requiring a response from you within
30 calendar days. On September 11, 2009, and November 6, 2009, the DWQ received requests from your
consultant to allow additional time to submit the requested information (the November 6, 2009,
correspondence stated that the requested information would be submitted to the DWQ by January 5,
2009). As of today the DWQ has not received the requested information. For this reason your
application is hereby considered returned. Once you have redesigned your project to address the
problems and inadequacies with your application as it was submitted, you will need to reapply for DWQ
approval. This includes submitting a complete application package.
Please be aware that you have no authorization under the Neuse Buffer Rules for this activity and any
work done within waters of the state would be a violation of North Carolina General Statuses and
