Dear Mr. Andersen:
In accordance with the verbal request received by this office from Ms. Joyce Dishmon of Duke
Energy Carolinas, LLC, we are modifying Pump & Haul Permit No. WQ0040669 to reflect a waste
volume greater than 10,000 gpd. It is our understanding that, due to an increase in personnel that
will be working at the facility during the upgrades to the septic system and a scheduled system
maintenance shutdown, the waste generated will likely increase to above 10,000 gpd. As stated in
the initial permit issued on February 26, 2019, please notify this office when the scheduled work
has been completed and the pump and haul operation is no longer necessary. All conditions
outlined in the February 26, 2019 permit remain the same.
The wastewater collected by this system shall be pumped by Shamrock Environmental
Corporation for treatment and discharged into the City of Greensboro TZ Osborne Water
Reclamation Facility for final treatment.
This permit shall become voidable unless the agreements between Shamrock Environmental
Corporation, Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, and the City of TZ Osborne Water Reclamation
Facility for the pumping, hauling and/or final treatment of wastewater are in full force and effect.
If any parts, requirements, or limitations contained in this permit are unacceptable, you have the
right to request an adjudicatory hearing upon written request within 30 days following receipt of
this permit. This request must be in the form of a written petition, conforming to Chapter 150B
of North Carolina General Statutes, and filed with the Office of Administrative Hearings, 6714
Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-6714. Unless such demands are made, this permit shall
be final and binding.
