Dear Mr. Zanker:
On July 25, 2019 staff of the North Carolina Division of Water Resources, Winston-Salem
Regional Office (DWR) performed a compliance inspection of the subject wastewater irrigation
system. The inspection was conducted by DWR staff personnel Jim Gonsiewski and Michael
Meilinger. Except for breaks in the fence around the spray irrigation field due to falling trees,
review of the spray irrigation field and wastewater treatment facilities reflects compliance with
permit WQ0011603.
Our office appreciates your diligence in properly maintaining your wastewater treatment and spray
irrigation system. As a reminder, please maintain records of septic tank checks/pumping and any
system maintenance and/or repairs on file for a minimum of five years and repair the fence around
the spray irrigation field. Please refer to the enclosed compliance inspection report for additional
