Inspection Summary:
On 05/15/2020 a review of provided annual report was conducted. The report refelcts compliance with the subject permit. A
site visit was not included in this inspection.
The following items of concern were noted:
1. Many of the soil types in Alamance and Caswell Counties were not listed on RYE database due to updated soil surveys.
Soil types and PAN rates need to be updated on FSF to ensure that over application of PAN is not occuring. Attachment B
should also be updated to include accurate soil types for each field.
2. A few fields applied to in the 2019 calendar year had elevated ESP, Cu, and Zn levels. Application to these fields should
be closely monitored. Fields were: AM14-2; AM16-5, AM16-2, AM15-3, AM16-1, CH39-4, CH98-5, CH98-6, CS36-8, CS36-
9, CS36-10.
3. All soil sampling should be completed in the same calendar year as the annual report. CH98-3 was not sampled in the
same calendar year as the report represented.
