Cause/Observation :Directions :
Complaint that animal waste is being dumped in a manner that it
runs into a stream
Fields that had just been timbered were being land applied to with
dairy wastes, runoff was occurring.
Action Taken :Comments :
Site visit conducted, samples taken, meeting with property owner
after samples taken. Directed slurry tank driver to avoid the fields in
question.
Runoff from application fields noted and discharge to downslope
surface waters documented and samples taken. Also documented
unknown material offloaded into WSP.
