Based on a reevaluation of.the Third Fork 'Creek mitigation site and lack of
confidence in getting full restoration credit at the §andy Creek site, we would like to
suggest a conference call among all parties to the following points:

regarding acceptance of the Third Fork site. c?
? Development of 3.0-3.5 ac of the abandoned sludge pond portion of the
Sandy Creek site such that at least the minimum of 1.47 ac of
restoration or the 2.94 ac of creation' may be met. Once the wetland
map is obtained a more accurate detejrmination of the available acreage
south of the sludge pond can W. m dc. The target elevation of the
constructed site would be low enough to capture and retain water, but
not so low as to drown the seedlings and become a pond. Tree guards
would be used to deter beaver predation of the seedlings.
? Should additional acreage be needed due to unsuccessful
restoration/creation at portions of the Third Fork site or the Sandy Creek
site, remedial mitigation may include 11 site remediation, 2) enhancement
and preservation of the abandoned b ver meadow at the Sandy Creek
site, 3) preservation of additional acreage elsewhere, or 4) the purchase
of acreage through WRP if at that time there is acreage available.
We will call to arrange discussion of these items, hopefully via a conference call.
If that cannot be arranged in a timely fashion, CZR will discuss the matter with each
of you individually. Thank you for your attention nd willingness to consider these
alternatives. i
