and Total Zinc Outfalls 002 & 003 Year 3 Summary Report& CAP.
The following compliance activities were addressed during the third year of the 5-year compliance
schedule.
a) Hired contractor to clean out all catch basins on-site flowing to outfall 002 at a cost of
$6,972.00. Work completed on 10/15/2019.
b) Awarded bid to survey and design the bio-swale at outfall 002 at a cost of$17,100.00 with a
target completion date of May 31, 2020. Phase 2 is the construction of the bio-swale.
c) Discussing equipment and structure needed to establish a new sample point at Outfall 003.
d) Attached updated Corrective Action Plan (CAP)
As the site closes out year three of the five-year compliance schedule, we will continue working to
construct a bio-swale at outfall 002 and update CAP as items are complete.

STORMWATER CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN (CAP)
This Stormwater Corrective Action Plan (Table 1) has been developed in conjunction with A. (13)
Schedule of Compliance Total Copper, Total Lead, Total Silver, and Total Zinc for Outfalls 002& 003 to
address compliance with the new lower limits for metals copper, lead, silver, and zinc for the two
(Outfalls 002 &003) combined process/stormwater discharges at DuPont—Kinston Facility, National
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit No. NC0003760.The schedule included in this Plan
provides a means for NCDEQ to assess the progress being made on each milestone.
