Based on the information that you have provided, DEQ has determined that it is appropriate to rescind permit NCS000549 and issue a No Exposure Certification for the Lark Maintenance Facility. The DEMLR Stormwater Program will provide documentation of the permit rescission as well as the No Exposure Certification on or before April 30, 2020. On the cover letter for the permit application, Duke will be asking for Outfalls 10 and 11 to be covered under “No Exposure Certification” and the remaining outfalls to be rescinded. I believe this was discussed with Toby and Sheila during their Duke Energy meeting last week. Thank you for providing the SW outfall descriptions, can you please also summarize the eDMR data from each for the past 5 or so years in an easy to follow format? The only thing left to provide by the end of the month is a renewal application to extend your application administratively while giving the Department a little more time to consider the data.
