Brad,
Thank you for providing the requested information about the locations, drainage areas, and monitoring data for the
outfalls associated with the Riverbend and Lark Maintenance Facilities. Based on the information that you have
provided, DEQ has determined that it is appropriate to rescind permit NCS000549 and issue a No Exposure Certification
for the Lark Maintenance Facility. The DEMLR Stormwater Program will provide documentation of the permit rescission
as well as the No Exposure Certification on or before April 30, 2020.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Sincerely,
Annette

Annette,
Attached is the ISW analytical data (recap), outfall description, visual outfall summary and a map showing drainage areas
of each outfall.
On the cover letter for the permit application, Duke will be asking for Outfalls 10 and 11 to be covered under “No
Exposure Certification” and the remaining outfalls to be rescinded. I believe this was discussed with Toby and Sheila
during their Duke Energy meeting last week.
Thanks again for all your help on this,
Brad

Brad,
I am so glad that the site visit was done today.
Thank you for providing the SW outfall descriptions, can you please also summarize the eDMR data from each for the
past 5 or so years in an easy to follow format?
The only thing left to provide by the end of the month is a renewal application to extend your application
administratively while giving the Department a little more time to consider the data.
Thanks,
Annette
