Other Violations/Staff Remarks:
EDMR indicated "Due to a heavy rain event, the South Fork River backed up into the Eagle Road WWTP on 2/7/20,
2/8/20 and 2/9/20 flooding the following areas: secondary clarifiers, chlorination chamber and dechlorination
chamber. Due to the flooding it was not possible to collect effluent composite or grab samples on the 7th or 8th.
Daily monitoring grab samples for pH, temperature, DO and residual chlorine were collected the first day access was
possible, Sunday February 9th. Additionally, the influent flow reading was reported as an estimate of effluent flow on
02/07/2020, 02/08/2020 and 02/09/2020. The flow meter's flume was submerged, and the totalizer was inaccessible
during the flooding. NC DEQ Mooresville was notified of the issues related to the flooding, and a WWTP 5 Day Bypass
Report and sample results were submitted to NC DEQ Mooresville as requested."
