SUBJECT: Chowan Co. Water Plant Effluent Limits
The effluent limits for the two Chowan Co. WTP's are listed on the attached
approval form. Please note that since this discharge is to receiving
waters located in the Chowan River Basin, it is subject to Nutrient
Sensitive Waters regulations. It has been assumed that no significant
discharge of nutrients (Nitrogen or Phosphorus - containing materials) will
occur from this facility. If it is determined that a significant discharge
of nutrients does occur, however, please advise.
