Dear Mr. Tyler:
A letter of request for Authorization to Construct was received October
14, 1983, by the Division and final plans and specifications for the subject
project have been reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby
granted for the construction of a additions to the existing wastewater treat-
ment plant consisting of a 1,200 gallon septic tank, a 65 GPM pump station
with dual pumps and high water alarm, approximately 200 lineal feet of 2-inch
force main and all related appurtenances to serve Old Dock Elementary School.
This Authorization to Construct is issued in accordance with Part III para-
graph C of NPDES Permit No. NCO043745 issued June 30, 1980, and shall be subject
to revocation unless the wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in
accordance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit No. NCO043745.
The sludge generated from these treatment facilities must be disposed of in
accordance with General Statue 143-215.1 and in a manner approvab le by the North
Carolina Division of Environmental Management.
The wastewater flow discharged to and treated by these facilities shall
not exceed 5,000 GPD unless approved by the Division of Environmental Management
One (1) set of approved plans and specifications is being forwarded to you.
