Box 428 Selma, NC 27576 Dear Mr. Hardison: ^,QIRTH CAF,OU%Ia Environmental Quality March 10, 2020 Subject: Compliance Evaluation Inspection CITGO Petroleum Corp -Selma Facility NPDES Permit NCO021954 Johnston County On March 10, 2020, Stephanie Goss of the Raleigh Regional Office (RRO) conducted a compliance evaluation inspection at the CITGO Petroleum, Selma Facility. The assistance of Wayne Whiting and yourself during the inspection was greatly appreciated. The following observations were made: • The permit became effective November 1, 2018 and will expire on March 31, 2023.. • Citgo Petroleum Corporation is permitted to discharge storm water/wastewater from the Selma facility located in Selma into an unnamed tributary of Mill Creek, a Class WS-IV, Nutrient Sensitive Waters in the Neuse River Basin. + Stormwater is collected into a secondary containment area (AST berm) and discharged through an effluent pipe at the outfall as needed.
