In case of a critical failure of our wastewater plants clarifier. For short term we would place several
submersible pumps in the clarifier to pump sludge back to the aeration basin . As far as how many I
would say 6-8 of them. Like I stated this would only be for short term.
As far as for long term talked with Mike Matousek of Kemp Inc. for a'suggestion on what we could
possibly do in this situation. Mike suggested pumping sludge out of our digester and converting it into a
clarifier basically while repairs are being made .
As a last resort or if need be we would have pumping trucks haul sludge to a wastewater plant for
disposal at that facility.
