I apologize for the delay in response, but recent changes to my chemotherapy schedule have thrown more than a few monkey wrenches into the calendar. We are, however, anticipating that we will be able to provide you with all of the requested documents and actions that are necessary to bring about compliance. With that said, I will list the following specific responses: 1 . Please accept this letter as notice of the Town of Woodfin's receipt of this Notice of Violation (NOV-2019-PC-0638) and our intent to comply with the outlined requirements. 2. The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Woodfin are scheduled to take up this matter at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on November 19, 2019. This would fall outside the 60-day time frame outlined within your letter by two (2) calendar days. If this is an unacceptable delay please advise me as soon as possible so that I can attempt to schedule a special meeting of the Board of Aldermen. The traditional meeting schedule for our Board is the third Tuesday of every month. 3. It is the intent of the Town of Woodfin to submit documentation for review and comment no later than one hundred and twenty (120) days from September 17, 2019. a. The Town of Woodfin has begun the self-audit process and will make those documents available as soon as the process can be completed but within the one hundred and twenty (120) time period described in the Notice of Violation. b. The Town of Woodfin will develop a Draft Stormwater Management Plan in accord with the directives outlined in the Notice of Violation. 4. It is the intention of the Town of Woodfin to submit the required permit application within 30 days of receiving written notice of concurrence from DEQ. 5. It is the intention of the Town to respond to public comments and submit a Final SWMP for DEQ as part of the final permit issuance. Please accept my apologies, again for the delay in response. We appreciate the State's patience as we work through the unexpected logistical hurdles enhanced by my current illness.
