Division of Water Resources' Raleigh Regional Office staff has reviewed Central Carolina Community
Colleges request to rescind the subject permit received February 20, 2020. Additional information is
required before this request can be completed. Please be aware that you are responsible for meeting all
requirements set forth in North Carolina rules and regulations.

1. What, if anything, does the facility plan to do with currently installed reclaimed water generation
equipment?
2. How will the facility prevent use of reclaimed water systems permitted under WQ0033406?
3. The reclaimed water generation system utilizes a septic tank and sand filters to treat wastewater.
Please explain the path of wastewater from the facility through the system components. At what
point can wastewater be diverted to the sanitary sewer?
4. The Permittee has expressed desire to rescind permit WQ0033406. In order to do so, the
Permittee must submit a signed letter, or email, from an authorized authority requesting
rescission.
