We are requesting your review and concurrence that the attached refinements are minor in nature and if so could be
handled with the agencies by you through email or other minor coordination. These proposed details do not change the
impacts permitted.
We have attached revised permit drawings which illustrate these minor changes to the structure details at two
locations.
Permit site 4B – UU
Pdf pages 1-3
At this location we are proposing to adjust the structural details to minimize excavation adjacent to the stream. The
permit drawing included removing the existing wing wall at the outlet end of the existing culvert to accommodate the
installation of a 60” jack and bore supplemental pipe. The proposed detail retains the existing wing and incorporates
the 60” pipe headwall into the end of the existing wing. The supplemental 60” pipe invert elevation will be maintained.

At this location we are proposing to adjust the alignment of one of the turns of culvert 17 which passes under the
interior of the interchange. The alignment adjustment is under the fill section of the roadways and does not extend to
the inlet of the culvert at the permit site. The section affected is 225’ of the length which is 18% of the overall 1,177
foot long culvert. This refinement minimizes impacts along existing US 52 northbound.
We request concurrence that these refinements are minor and acceptable for implementation through the appropriate
submittals.
