DSM Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has requested re-approval of the chemical, Spectrus DT 1404, based on 2 acute
Ceriodaphnia toxicity tests performed with this chemical in various concentrations. This product will be
discharged into their Outfall 001/002 and in to Parker's Creek.
The results of these toxicity tests show no toxic impact to aquatic life in the receiving stream, Parker's Creek.
Therefore, the use of this product as an additive to their cooling water system at DSM Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is
acceptable. No further toxicity testing is required.
