Facility Description: Sam Auto Salvage is located on approximately 2.95 acres of property at 2711 Wilkinson Boulevard
in Charlotte. The property is used for car salvage and used parts activities.
File Review/History: Charlotte -Mecklenburg Storm Water Services (CMSWS) has performed previous inspections at
Sam Auto Salvage on January 15, 2015, April 14, 2016, and May 24, 2018. Notices of Violation were issued to Sam Auto
Salvage on January 20, 2015 for an illicit discharge of motor oil into a stormwater drain and June 12, 2018 for an illicit
connection to the stormwater drainage system.

Recommendation

inlets to filter oil and other pollutants in the stormwater runoff
from the property. It is recommended that the absorbent
booms be routinely checked and replaced as needed. The
used absorbent booms should be disposed of properly.

There were no illicit discharges or connections observed on
the property during the inspection.
