They contacted Bradley's group about rescinding this permit and applying for a new one. Robert Patterson and Archdale new hire Jenny Jones invited this RRO inspector to go for an evaluation of the site to determine what permits would be appropriate. The site is complicated by the fact that a separate legal entity has a precast concrete operation in a separate building a few feet behind the Timberline building. The permit they hoped for turned out to be a No Exposure Stormwater permit. A plant tour quickly revealed that several changes were needed to qualify for NE: Floor drains in the bldg that connect to the stormwater piping should be sealed, housekeeping outside needed upgrading, especially regular sweeping of the pavement to remove sawdust and concrete dust, as well as random small pieces of wood waste. The underground conduits were nearly choked off with solids, so must be cleaned and restored to original capacity. One drop inlet that was overgrown with weeds must either be made weed -free and some sort of protection put around the hole to keep trucks away, or the weeds can be trimmed and cleaned out from the inlet itself but a border maintained to warn truckers away. The owner provided drawing of several process upgrades they intend to make between now and the end of January, 2008. It was decided that communication would be maintained between Robert and the consultant (Jim Strangler) to decide whether separate permits, NCG07 and NCG21 are appropriate, or some combination of those and a NE permit, assuming things are put in order outside the buildings. Re -inspection will be needed in Feb. 2008. Mr. Norberg's name is misspelled in BIMS. Permit and Outfalls Yes No NA NE # Is a copy of the Permit and the Certificate of Coverage available at the site? ❑ ❑ ❑ ■ # Were all outfalls observed during the inspection? _ ■ ❑ ❑ ❑ # If the facility has representative outfall status, is it properly documented by the Division? ❑ ❑ ■ ❑ # Has the facility evaluated all illicit (non stormwater) discharges? ❑ ❑ ❑ ■ Comment: Meeting was held for the purpose of establishing appropriate permits for this site.
