The PERCS Unit of the Division of Water Resources has reviewed the updated Short Term Monitoring Plan
(STMP) for the Yadkin Valley Sewer Authority. The STMP was initially received by the Division on October
17, 2019, followed by revisions received on February 12, 2020.
The review, with the most recent revisions, indicates that the STMP is adequate and meets the
requirements needed to establish site -specific Headworks Analysis (HWA). Proper implementation of
STMP is also required by your NPDES permit. Please refer to the Comprehensive Guidance for North
Carolina Pretreatment Programs (Comprehensive Guide) on PERCS website for additional information and
examples. Modification to this STMP must be approved by the Division.
