THE TOWN OF LATTIMORE
NOTICE OF DISCHARGE OF UNTREATED WASTEWATER
The Town of Lattimore had a discharge of untreated wastewater on 2/6/2020 of an estimated
2,000 gallons total from West Lee South pump station located at 252-1 West Lee Street and
Ambassador pump station located at 501 North Mill Street in Lattimore. The discharge occurred
due to inflow and infiltration caused by excessive rainfall. The untreated wastewater entered
into an unnamed tributary of Beaverdam Creek in the Broad River Basin.
The Division of Water Resources (Mooresville Office) was notified of the event on 2/6/2020 and
is reviewing the matter. This notice is required by North Carolina General Statues Article 21
