This inspection consists of (1) a review of the permit and accompanying documentation to determine compliance with permit conditions, and (2) an on -site inspection of several collection system components. The attached inspection form notes the areas that were evaluated for the inspection, with any notable findings outlined as follows. 1. pH Reporting Please be reminded that pH reporting guidance specifies that multiple values read during the day cannot be averaged due to the logarithmic nature of the measurement. All effluent values must be reported on the eDMR, following the following convention: a. If there are values in violation of the effluent limit, the most extreme noncompliant value is to be reported in the daily cell. b. If all values taken were compliant, the value closest to the bounds of the limit range, high or low, must be reported in the daily cell. c. Other values are to be reported in the comments section. Their standard practice is to take duplicate readings several times per day, and report an average of the reading taken at 11:00 am. Note that pH read at the effluent must all be reported and cannot be averaged due to the logarithmic nature of pH. Calibration is performed quarterly by ISI/FCx. Future inspectors may wish to verify the in -situ staff gauge's placement.
