The system appeared to operate sufficiently at the time of inspection. However the following items need to be addressed to maintain compliance: The Audible alarm was muffled and needs repair. Drip irrigation is under mulch layer, per original system design instruction and former permitting language. Lines cannot be seen. Field needs maintenance for removal of undergrowth. Resident has plans to replace lines and said he would clear vegetation. Offered to contact MRO upon completion for follow-up. MRO staff requested photos be emailed. The 2-wire strand fence is not installed; however, this property and the field are isolated. Resident has started a notebook for documentation. MRO staff recommended additional documentation of required weekly/monthly inspections; And, filing of repair/maintenance purchase records with logbook for easy access during future inspecitons. NA Comment: There does not appear to be a filter at the septic tank and MRO staff did not review historic file for Sanitary T. There is an unorthodox swimming pool type sand filter and a new turbidity filter was installed before UV. There are floating solids in the clear tank, to be addressed with the next pump and haul. It is unclear how the system design can retain floating material at the main tank.
