Dear Mr. Johnson:
Maria Schutte of the Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) viewed an active land application event on June
241h, 2019. The MRO would like to thank Doug Shoudt (Mt. Holly WWTP and LA ORC) and Adam
Brigman (Synagro LA Contractor) for their time during this site inspection and additional land review for
the current permit renewal.
Additional analytical data was requested and received by email from Adam Brigman on June 241h and
251h, 2019. Data, application site and vehicle appeared to meet program requirements at the time of
inspection.

Odors present: Odors were NOT detected.
Vectors present: Flies and other insects were present, but appeared unrelated to land application.
Comments: Mt. Holly contracts with Synagro for land application, but maintains the residuals program in-
house. Mr. Shoudt was present to conduct Mt. Holly's internal land application inspection and remained
on -site for closer view of application and flagging, while MRO staff and Mr. Brigman proceeded to review
setbacks to existing Lincoln and Gaston County sites as part of this permit's renewal. Mr. Brigman was
reminded to investigate Seasonal High Water Table at all field sites, while area wet -weather patterns
prevail.
