Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) staff conducted a compliance inspection in conjunction with the
permit renewal, on December 9th, 2019. The MRO would like to thank you and your staff for your
time during the inspection. Permit records, the two Recycle lagoons, the landfill leachate system and
site irrigation well were viewed during this inspection.
The facilities appeared appropriately maintained at the time of inspection. The main item of concern,
is there is no gauge present to measure water levels at either of the two recycle units. This item was
also noted at the last inspection. MRO staff will recommend this item be highlighted as part of the
permit renewal to align with language in the Recycle system rules.
This permit is currently in the renewal process with our Central Office staff. Specific questions
concerning the renewal process may be directed to: Poonam.Giri(u)ncdenr.gov, the permit writer
assigned to your project.
