The MRO would like to thank you and your staff for your time during the inspection. Permit records, the two Recycle lagoons, the landfill leachate system and site irrigation well were viewed during this inspection. The facilities appeared appropriately maintained at the time of inspection. The main item of concern, is there is no gauge present to measure water levels at either of the two recycle units. This item was also noted at the last inspection. MRO staff will recommend this item be highlighted as part of the permit renewal to reflect language in the Recycle system rules. This permit is currently in the renewal process with our Central Office staff. Hualing records were reviewed on -site &/or received by email as proof of appropriate handling. Per previous inspection reports, this facility makes an effort to find reuse for all materials coming from their process. The mill scale is periodically removed from the basins and sold to other businesses for its high Iron Ore content. Residuals from the oil/water separator are hauled off -site for proper disposal by Safety-Kleen.
