After subtracting this number from the created wetland site total of 2.76 acres, there remains a surplus over the required mitigation of 2 acres as stated in the 22 January 2001 Permit Special Condition #9. Further, in accordance with Permit Special Condition #9, 1160 linear feet of stream channel was to be created at the Red Ramp Mitigation site. Based on the as-built and site visit of 28 July 2009, the stream mitigation requirement has been fulfilled at the Red Ramp Mitigation Site. However, Monitoring should continue under the current monitoring contract with the final report being submitted to the Corps and NCDWQ for review and filing in the administrative record.
