Dear Mr. Shaffner;
Your request to sample stormwater discharges from outfall SDO #1 for the above referenced
facility for purposes of NPDES stormwater permit monitoring requirements has been reviewed by
Steve Ulmer and Beth Morton (WSRO) of our Water Quality staff.
Based on your letter of September 10.. 1996, and accompanying site map we have determined that
the exemption of outfalls SDO #2 and #3 is considered warranted in accordance with Chapter40 of the
Code of federal Regulation part 122.21 (g) (7). We authorize you to sample at outfall SDO #1.
