The information package for this site was received by the Raleigh Regional Office on July 15, 1999
and is referenced a project NBRRO 99-146. The features represented on the Wake County Soils and
the USGS maps were evaluated to determine their subjectivity to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient
Sensitive Waters Management Strate • Protection and Maintenance'of Existing Riparian e

As a result,it was determined that there is a stream feature and a pond depicted on both the United
States Geological Survey and Wake County Soils Maps. A site visit determined that these two
features were removed from the topography some years ago and are no longer present on the ground
and therefore not subject to the Rule. There is a drainage ditch that has been placed along the

northern property line that is also not subject to this Rule.
This letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. Thank you for your attention
