Please provide a brief description of this project (attach site plan if available):
The project is an approximate 55.22-acre wooded tract that is currently under construction with an
elementary school. Access to the site will be by way of a permanent road that will involve crossing two
streams and placement of fill in approximately 0.14 acres of wetlands. The stream impacts for the roadway
include piping of approximate 284 linear feet of mitigatable stream channel and 178 linear feet of non-
mitigatable stream. A temporary impact of 27 linear feet is requested for temporary construction road and
two temporary impacts totaling 41 linear feet on a third stream are planned for sanitary sewer line.

Reid Dairy Road. The site is on the right.

We understand the site was originally part of a larger tract and was condemned and acquired by Union
County for development of a school. We further understand some surrounding property owner were upset by
the action.
