Wendell Falls Outfall D
Dear Mr. Collins:
On October 7, 2019, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application
requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification and Authorization Certificate from the Division for
your project. The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be
processed. The application is on -hold until the following information is received:
1. In the Neuse River Basin, intermittent streams, perennial streams, lakes, ponds and
estuaries depicted on USGS maps and NRCS soil survey maps are subject to the Riparian
Buffer Rules. Impacts to the riparian buffers must be identified on your plans [15A
NCAC 02B .0233 (8)(b)(iv)]. If a stream is depicted on either map it is subject to the
riparian buffers. [Note: if the permittee believes the maps inaccurately depict surface
waters he or she must consult DWR to secure a formal on -site determination. If DWR
has provided an onsite determination, please e-mail the confirmed determination letter
to Stephanie Goss at stephanie.goss@ncdenr.gov.]
2. On page 5 of the PCN, part 6. Of the buffer Impacts, the table was left blank. Please e-
mail the buffer impact table to Stephanie Goss at stephanie.goss@ncdenr.gov.]
