Comment Comments related primarily to stormwater The facility is generally clean but there is slot of residual/dust on the ground, this fine particuuate material is easily suspended during rain events and carried to the receiving stream Because it is so fine it is also very slow to settle The area around the warehouse drains to a treatment/settling basin, it is imperative that this basin be cleaned out on a timely schedule with predicted rain events in mind Another equally important management strategy for the entire site is the frequency of sweeping If housekeeping and/or sweeping is insufficient it is likely the fine particulate material will reach the stream Another option for the facility is to deploy filters at their storm drain inlets Permit (if the present permit expires in 6 months or less) Has the permittee submitted anew application? Is the facility as described in the permit? # Are there any special conditions for the permit? Is access to the plant site restricted to the general public? is the inspector granted access to all areas for inspection? Comment Effluent Pipe Is right of way to the outfall properly maintained? Are the receiving water free of foam other than trace amounts and other debris? If effluent (diffuser pipes are required) are they operating property'?
