Pratt Davie County Water System 261 Chaffin Street Mocksville, North Carolina 27028 Dear Mr. Pratt: Michael F. Easley Governor William G. Ross, Jr., Secretary North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources Alan W. Klimek, P.E., Director Division of Water Quality July 10, 2002 Subject: Modification of NPDES Permit NCO084212 Sparks Road WTP Davie County The subject permit was issued on May 24, 1999. A review of the permit file by Division personnel noted a typographical error on the effluent page of your permit. The limits for Settleable Solids were incorrectly expressed in mg/L. The old page may then be discarded. All other terms and conditions contained in the original permit remain unchanged and in full effect. This permit modification is issued under the requirements of North Carolina General Statutes 143-215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. If any parts, measurement frequencies or sampling requirements contained in this permit modification are unacceptable to you, you have the right to an adjudicatory hearing upon written request within thirty (30) days following receipt of this letter. I'm trying to clear up this list. Two permits NCO068365 and unit -of -measure for parameter 00545. The only aYowable uom for 00545 is ml/l. I looked at these two permits and they were written with a uom of mg/l. Is mg/1 correct and therefore we need to have EPA add mg/l as an allowable uom for settleable solids, 00545, or does there need to be a permit correction to ml/l? Jeanne 1 of 1 3/25/2002 10:17 AT
