Good morning,
Attached is the report of an incident that occurred at Line 439 yesterday afternoon. At station
973+45 (ESC Permit Pitt-2019-017), approximately 2700 gallons of drilling material (bentonite and
water) surfaced and made ground contact on a dry bank in an adjacent wetland.
The drill rig was immediately shut down once they observed loss of returns. Containment was
established around perimeter of the affected area in the wetland. Clean up is currently in progress
and ongoing. The goal is to have all cleanup efforts completed by close of business today.
I will be sending a 7 day follow up letter next week.
Thanks,
Brad
