The site is located on the west side of Northwest Road NE. The proposed sanitary sewer system is to serve 162 (3 bedroom) single-family residential lots. The flow required is 34,020 GPD based on a reduced flow rate of 70 gpd/bedroom (140 gpd/lot min.) since the flow goes to the Northeast Brunswick Regional W WTF which has that approved reduced flow rate. There is 6,227.91 LF of 8" public gravity sanitary sewer main and 177 LF of 6" public force main being proposed for this project. The length of the gravity sewer main is based on the distance from inside wall of manhole to inside wall of manhole. The pump station is a duplex station. The pumps are 23 horsepower, and the pumping rate is 490 gpm at 89 TDH when pumping alone at initial service. The proposed 6" force main will discharge into an existing 8" sewer force main along the east side of Northwest Road NE (WQ0032475).
