Box 230 211 South Hamilton Street High Point, NC 27261 Subject: City of High Point Riverdale Pump Station Permit No. WQ0008572 Guilford County Dear Mr. Houk: I received the letter dated August 9, 2019 from Mr. Glenn Dunn on the City of High Point's behalf. The Division of Water Resources recognizes the City's request to release 150,000 gallons per day of additional flow through the Riverdale Pump Station. Due to the ongoing construction status and the by-pass set up of the pump station in question, the Division is unable to release the requested amount. As a compromise that we hope you find suitable, the Division will release 60,000 gallons per day of additional flow to the pump station. Specifically, the Winston-Salem Regional Office will amend specific sewer extension permits at your discretion that were originally issued with no flow as "construction only" permits. Please discuss which permits should be amended with the Winston- Salem Regional Office staff, as they will need to approve each request and track the allocation of the released 60,000 gallons per day. For further assistance, please contact Lon Snider or Jenny Graznak in the Winston-Salem Regional Office at (336) 776-9800 or via e-mail at Jenny.Graznak@ncdenr.Rov or Lon.Snider@ncdenr.Rov.
