2. Welcome and Introduc�ons
Periann Russell began the mee�ng by introducing new members to the team: Todd Kennedy, Madison Burnete,
and Tim Baumgartner.
3. Stony Creek Pilot Project
Tim Baumgartner gave a presenta�on with an update on the Stoney Creek Pilot Project. He presented the goals
of the project and the status of each goal. Tim also talked about project implementa�on and performance
monitoring, as well as addi�onal sites, and cost benefit analysis.
Next steps in the Stoney Creek project include developing a land protec�on instrument and specific site and
prac�ce selec�on.
Tim concluded his presenta�on by sharing the �meline for the project and answering some ques�ons from the
group.
Marlena Byrne asked how the Stoney Creek project will inform the blueprint process. Tim replied that DMS is
the EPR’s conduit to the blueprint process and DMS keeps EPR informed.
Kayne Van Stell asked if work on the project indicated acre-feet unit as s�ll viable. Group discussion suggested
yes, but other metrics may be viable as well. Ken Ashe suggested that qualita�ve metrics that relate to human
impacts should also be considered.
Bill Holman emphasized the importance of including local municipali�es in maintenance and opera�ons
discussions and decisions of completed projects.

4. Closing Statements
Periann discussed the upcoming crea�on of objec�ves for goals of the project.
Periann also proposed a workshop for the near future to define nature-based systems and natural infrastructure,
as well as discussion regarding scale of projects. Periann informed the board of the need to contract someone to
help develop a strategy plan for NIFMP development. Board members were asked to make sugges�ons.
