Dear Mr. Parr,
Please find attached a mine permit application for the above mine which is located north of Marion, NC on
Hicks Chapel Loop jus off Highway 221 North. A check in the amount oOf $5,000 to cover the application
fees is also attached.
The Mountain mist mine has been in operation for many years and over the years has grown to be over
one acre due to the entrance road and the several small mines located on the two properties. By obtaining
a permit for the mine the entire site can be mined and then reclaimed at the end of the mine's life.
To conserve paper resources and ink only Land Quality will get the permit application in its entirety
because the other people who will review the permit will not need blasting plans, calculations and other
information included with the permit.
Per our discussion today I will also forward a PDF version of the permit to you early next week.
