Dear Director Brian Wrenn and Hearing Officer Dan Sams,
I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for providing the public with the opportunity to open two dates for
public hearing regarding the mining permit 92-10. While it was one of the most well -attended public hearing I
have seen, I would like to share with you some concerns that were raised by some of the registered speakers
regarding the difficulties they have encountered during the hearing, and hope that DEQ will take these concerns
into consideration to ensure better engagement with the public in the future.
