Dan Saims,
Good Afternoon,
l aim widting today over concerns l Ihave about the (proposed expansion of
the RDU iroclk quarry. l frequent L.ake Crabtree and Uimstead Ipairk often
and comini move between the two. This inew quarry wound distuirb Ibotlh
areas and wound taii this ii geim. These Ipairks are lImpoirtaint to the
triaii and make it a moire appeafing Ipllace to hIve, do business, etc... If
we are wiHIing to give (huge Ilinceintive (packages to compaii llin the spirllt of
corporate devellopmeint protecting this area shoUld Ibe ino Iprobleirn. It is a
good liinvestrnent. We may lose tax irevenue from inot having the quarry but
we willll Iprotect the triaii high qualIlIty of life ireviiews (wNlch comini
attract inew jobs). We shoUld Iprotect these areas and treat theim like the
valluable assets they are.
AH the best,
Nick Wyatt
