I am writing concerning the Absolute Service Company, LLC application dated 11/5/2021 of the
proposed sand ang gravel on 100 acres located 7.1 miles East of Trenton on Oak Grove Road in
Jones County, allow me to introduce ourselves William and Carolyn Penn, we are located at
122 Cloey Lane and was not notified as others of this expansion, we hope you will take in
consideration our concerns which are the Time of Operation, which sometimes can be heard in
our home at Sam, although we are getting used to this when it does occur but would ask that a
bit later start would be great but understand if this can't be done.
Our biggest concern is the wood burning as the Smoke totally engulfs our Property being we
are the closest, Wood smoke is not good for the lungs of children and older adults, -Wood
smoke can cause coughing, wheezing and asthma attacks, and lead to serious health
issues, such as heart attacks, lung cancer and premature death. We would like to see
alternative methods used or if not would like to have one day of the week for burning
and a set time so we could prepare for the smoke by possibly staying indoors or away
from home.
