Per our discussion, I have reviewed the preliminary site plan for the proposed sand mine
on Tick Bite Road in Grifton for ER Lewis Construction Company. Per the email and
plan received, this proposed development will have no permanent structures on site, is
shown to be located outside of the floodway, and will not disturb or clear any additional
areas outside of the cleared agricultural land. This preliminary plan is approved, but will
require a floodplain development permit from this office before any mining occurs.
