the Ipllainined quarry wHH forever inegativelly impact the Uimstead Park at Reedy Greek. Parks
and Ipubllic spaces are moire llimpoirtaint to our health and welly belling. We have enough
particulate imatteir lin the air we Ibreatlhe, and more than enough contaminated lin the waters
that flow tlhirouglh Crabtree Creek. Once it's goine it's forever goine. We've lost so much
already. Preserve this space that wHH make the Ipairk more accessible and a Ibeinefit to more
citizens as welH as wil6lfe. Wake County is fast losing our trees and qualIlIty of Illife due to
"'economic" Ipressuire and short sighted Ipllainnliing. There is ino(long term Ibeinefit to having
anotheir pit to crush stone. The negative impacts wHH Ibe forever. The airport should Ibetteir
imainage it's facilities and inot rely on the repulsive and detrllrneintall selH off. RDU should
respect the citizens it also serves. No to the quarry, it's that simple. We ineed open space for
healthy people, inot airports.
