MINING PROGRAM
Subject: Modification Mill Creek Mine, Permit 51-49 / 51-40, ADI response
Dear Mr. Parr;
On behalf of James Kirkpatrick, Blue Water Sand and Gravel, Inc, I am writing in response to
your June 14, 2022 letter requesting additional information on the above -referenced mining
permit modification application. I will respond to each item in the order of your letter for clarity.
1. Adjoining property owner names have been corrected on the Mine Map. One issue was
that Blue Water (via K Farms) acquired additional acreage across Williford Road after the initial
application was submitted. In light of this new acreage, the site maps have been revised to
show this new acreage and associated mining activity.
2. The wetlands on the entire property were delineated by Probe Resources. Their map is
attached.
3. A perimeter berm surrounds the mining area and all disturbed areas. Silt fencing is
placed on the outside of the berm area to prevent offsite sedimentation during initial clearing
and berm establishment.
4. The mine map has been revised to show actual site conditions. There are no longer
designated numbered Pit areas. There is one discharge point for the mining area north of
Williford Road, and one discharge point for the mining area south of Williford Road.
5. The mine map has been revised to show actual site conditions, and any disturbed area is
now classified as "Mining Area".
6. The site plan has been revised to show actual site conditions. The mining areas,
stockpiles, etc are labeled on the site plan, and the acreages of each are shown on the affected
acreage chart.
7. All wells within 500 feet of the excavation are shown on the mine map.
8. There is one 1,500 gallon fuel tank onsite

9. A Reclamation Map has been provided.
10. Before any new area is disturbed, markers indicating the limits of disturbance will be
established and surveyed.
We trust that this information will allow you to complete your review of this modification
request. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Sincerely,
James Izzell
